Initial (Long and complex) Appointments

When you contact us to book an initial consultation with Dr Ryan, you will be required to send in your referral for Dr Ryan to triage.

​

This means she will review your referral to make sure that,

1/ you are allocated enough time to cover all of your problems

2/ you are seen urgently if you need to

3/ That any information she needs in order to manage your health, is obtained prior to your consultation

​

For initial consultations, payment in full is required at the time of your booking to reserve you appointment. This unfortunately has had to be implemented, to reduce the number of patients that cancel at short notice when they receive their SMS reminder.

In order for your appointment to be booked as soon as possible with Dr Ryan, please complete the following:

Please note that Dr Ryan reviews all referrals prior to you being given an appointment time, to ensure you receive the appropriate time for your consultation, and an urgent review if you are unwell.

Rescheduling or Cancellation

You will receive an SMS reminder 96 hours prior to your appointment.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment for any reason, please do prior to, or as soon as you receive your SMS reminder. This allows us enough time to offer your appointment to another patient.

If you cancel or reschedule less than72 hours prior to your appointment our cancellation policy will apply.

Cancellation Policy

​

Dr Ryan does not believe in charging a cancellation fee for patients that cancel or reschedule at short notice, for whatever reason.

However, if you do cancel or repeatedly reschedule at short notice Dr Ryan reserves the right to discharge your care back to your GP.

If you have paid for an initial consultation up front, you will be refunded the full amount.
